  4. What is DOGA-L1
  5. ---------------------
  6.     DOGA-L series is software which you can use to produce Computer 
  7.     Graphics animations (CGA). People say that learning CG software is 
  8.     difficult. DOGA-L series is designed so that you can learn gradually 
  9.     from a beginner to an advanced stage. DOGA-L1 is the first step of 
  10.     the series.

  12. System requirements
  13. -------------------
  14.     Personal computer: 
  15.        IBM compatible (minimum Pentium 90MHz, over 133MHz is recommended). 
  16.     OS: 
  17.        Windows95 (DirectX3b or later needed) is recommended. 
  18.        WWW browser must be installed. (Netscape 3.0 or later, or Internet 
  19.        Explorer 3.0 or later is recommended.) 
  20.     Memory: 
  21.        At least of 24MB RAM, over 32MB is recommended. 
  22.     Free Hard-drive space: 
  23.        At least 30MB, over 40MB is recommended. 
  24.     Display Adapter 
  25.        At least High-Color(16bit), True-Color(24bit) is recommended.

  27. How to install

  29.     "DL1E9905.EXE" is DOGA-L1 installer. Please execute it and follow 
  30.     the messages.

  35.     DOGA-L1 is free to use for non-commercial purpose. If you want to 
  36.     use for commercial purpose, please contact us.

  42. Do not install or use the Software until you have read and accepted all of 
  43. the license terms. Permission to use the software is conditional upon your 
  44. agreement to the license terms. 
  45. If you do not agree to the terms of license agreement, please remove the 
  46. Software promptly from your computer.

  49. 1.Grant of license  The DOGA software is licensed as follows:

  51. You are granted limited, non-exclusive, nontransferable license to use the 
  52. DOGA product in consideration of the payment of the registration fee.
  53. You may use the Software on one computer at any time for use only in the 
  54. End-User's own business.
  55. You may not copy or reproduce the Software except the archival purpose.

  57. 2. Copyright.

  59. The Software is owned by DOGA and is protected by Japanese copyright laws 
  60. and international provisions.
  61. The copyright of L1 preset parts belongs to DOGA. The copyright of all 
  62. visual content produced using L1 belongs to you and DOGA. You can use 
  63. them for personal use and exhibit them at CG contests etc. If you would 
  64. like to use them for business purposes, DOGA's permission is required.
  65. Visual content and models produced using any part or function of L1 for 
  66. non-profit purposes including personal and group homepages is allowed. 
  67. In these cases, please mention that they are the products of DOGA-L1
  68. and put a DOGA banner on the homepage.

  71. 3. No warranty.

  73. This product is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. DOGA does 
  74. not and cannot warrant the performance or results you may obtain by using 
  75. the Software. In no event will DOGA be liable to you for any consequential, 
  76. incidental, direct, indirect, special, punitive, or other damages whatsoever 
  77. (including, without limitation, damages for loss of business profits, 
  78. business interruption, loss of business information, loss of savings or 
  79. other pecuniary loss) arising out of this agreement or use of or inability 
  80. to use the Software, even if DOGA has been advised of the possibility of 
  81. such damages.
  82. In United States, some states/jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or 
  83. limitation of liability for consequential or incidental damages. So the 
  84. above limitation may not apply to you.

  89. This license will terminate immediately without notice from Licensor if 
  90. you fail to comply with the terms and conditions of this license agreement. 
  91. In such case, you must remove the Software promptly from your computer.

  96. The end user agrees that the Software is to be used in the United States, 
  97. the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, Holland, Australia, New Zealand
